Public Participation Overview
Public Workshops
There are three public workshops that will be conducted at key points throughout this project. Each workshop is anticipated to begin with an informal open house session. During the open house component, Project Team members will be available to talk with the public in a one-on-one, informal atmosphere. Following each open house session, a formal presentation and/or workshop activity will be conducted.
- Public Workshop #1: The JLUS process will be introduced and defined. An overview of existing conditions and land use and development trends will be reviewed.
- Public Workshop #2: The draft compatibility factors will be presented and issues and location of areas of concern will be discussed.
- Public Workshop #3:The Draft JLUS, including draft recommendations and strategies, will be reviewed and discussed in a house meeting format.
As workshop dates and locations are set, links to meeting materials will be posted on this website. As the project progresses, links to the materials and presentations from previous meetings will be posted here for easy access and remain here for the duration of the project.
